| Atari 2600 In January 2003 I acquired a lot of Atari goodies for AUS$50. Included in this lot was over 70 games and, although I kept a few of my favourites, I sold the majority on EBay and made a profit of over AUS$600!!! Thanks to this initial profit my new found addiction to collecting old gaming consoles and games has, so far, been self-funding :-) The Atari 2600 does seem very primitive now,
compared to the X-Box, however it still holds a lot of sentimental value
to me and I remember fondly playing on this console around the 1980 era. |

| Super Nintendo Although I never had one of these back in their prime I do remember the rave caused by the likes of Super Mario World and Donkey Kong Country. For this reason I have now added two Super Nintendo consoles to my old console collection and specifically been collecting some old classic SNES games so that, although I never played them originally, I can now enjoy and savour what I originally missed out on. Thanks to a friend for my initial collection of games and SNES console. |
